This last weekend I headed down to Southern California for a magical vacation at the happiest place on earth. Can you guess where? I think a weekend getaway to Disneyland can’t really get any better…except for adding some wine of course!

For those who don’t know, Disneyland is one of my favorite places to travel and I try to go as much as I can with my Annual Pass. Not only is it a great place to vacation, but there are some amazing wine options on property.

One of my favorite restaurants on property is “Napa Rose.” The name is also pretty perfect for this Napa girl! It is one of the premier dining locations at Disney and they have an amazing wine selection. The wine cellar on property is filled with some incredible wine, including a set of special edition Lasseter Family Winery Pixar wines.

We truly had a great experience and enjoyed the fine dinning selection. I strongly recommend the “Smiling Tiger Salad” followed by the truffle Mac-n-cheese with Orecchiette pasta paired with the “Grilled Creekstone Farms Prime New York steak.

While you’re in the park at California Adventure, there is another option for a little taste of wine country. The Wine Country Trattoria has full vineyards that lead behind the restaurant and have some seasonal wine information.

The restaurant downstairs offers a great Italian menu full of Tuscan inspired dishes and a separate wine bar to order a glass and walk around. What’s better than strolling through the park sipping on a glass of crisp bubbles on a hot summer day?

However, if you are looking for a nice relaxing break from running to one ride to another, I strongly suggest the upstairs Alfresco Tasting Terrace. Not very many people know about this secret little lounge that offers a great selection of wine and small bite appetizers. This cheese and charcuterie board paired with a Silverado Sauvignon Blanc was perfect to escape the 94 degree weather during my stay.

A lot of wine lovers may not know that there are actually a lot of connections to Disney and wine country. Their full menu gives the back story to the amazing wineries that are associated with the Disney Family.
