Being in Northern California it is only natural to pack your bags and favorite swimsuit and head south to the beach, surf, and the spectacle of Southern California (SoCal). I typically try to go to SoCal once a month to visit my best friends and of course the beach and Disneyland. This past trip I headed down south to surprise my dad for Father’s Day on our family trip to Huntington Beach.

For our trip we stayed at the fabulous Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa. This resort is truly one of my favorite places to stay as it is LITERALLY right across the street from the beach. They have a walkway at the resort that leads right down to the sand, doesn’t get much better than that! My family always chooses this property for a little beach getaway. I definitely recommend this as the place to stay in Huntington to enjoy the full beach experience as well as their awesome pool and resort.

Some of my favorite things to do are stroll the beach, watch some beach volleyball games, the surf, explore the pier, and of course stopping for a delicious ice cram cone on a hot day.
